When running the agent production report you may find that there are policies unassigned to an agent, even though you have assigned the agent to the policy. This is because the report only picks up the assignment once commission for that agent has been added to the endorsement. Those receiving their commission statements via carrier downloads will encounter this every month as the commissions only come in once a month. To see what what your agent has produced so far in the month you can go to policies and search the policies by effective date. This will get you the true list of what they have bound, while you are waiting for the commission to come in. You can export to excel and sort by agent.
